Boykin Spaniel Society Flushing Dog Training Seminar
December 5-7, 2008
Make your plans now to get in on the fun of Upland training for you and your Boykin. We shall once again be directed by expert trainers and holders of Springer and Cocker National Championships, Ray Cacchio and Fred Bradley. The training seminar is three days of intense activity with the more experienced dogs being immediately exposed to lots of live bird work. Lesser experienced or younger dogs are first evaluated, and if needed, placed in a separated class with either Ray or Fred to determine exactly what goals need to be accomplished over the three days to improve the dog and handler.
This is my fifth year being involved with the BSS Flushing Dog Seminar and I have noticed that each year the dogs and handlers continue to get better. This is no accident. People are listening to the trainers and taking what is learned at the seminar home and continuing the training. Each year we have returning attendees and the performance from one year to the next is amazing.
This great event is very reasonably priced at $300 for the entire weekend, including all meals. RV electrical hookups for eight (four 30amp and four 50amp) are available at no charge for those who would like to camp for the weekend. Mark you calendar and join us for the fun and festivities. Contact the Boykin Spaniel Society by phone at 803-425-1032 or via Email at boykinss@boykinspaniel.org to enroll. We look forward to seeing you in December at the seminar.
